Creg Ostler, CFA, CFP®

Creg is Stoker Ostler’s Chief Investment Officer. He also leads the firm’s investment committee and is responsible for oversight of the firm’s investment research and portfolio strategies. Prior to founding the firm in 1997 with Phil Stoker, Creg spent many years in senior positions with large, national financial institutions. His expertise includes developing long-term investment strategies and communicating complex financial concepts.
Creg is a CFA® charterholder and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He is a member of the CFA Institute. Creg received his bachelor’s degree in finance and estate planning from Brigham Young University and his MBA with a major in finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Creg is the co-founder of Inner City Youth Charitable Foundation in Chicago as well as a volunteer for Heifer International (providing livestock for needy families in developing countries) and is active in Boy Scouts and other community service.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered CFP (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
